Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to tune my ride?

It all depends on the shape it’s in when you bring it in. That said, we pride ourselves on fast, efficient service. Expect us to complete your bike in a matter of days—typically 3–5 days—not weeks.

What's included in your tune-up?

Our tune-up is designed to include everything needed to put your bike into the best condition possible without changing parts.

At that point, if we believe your bike needs new parts, we will contact you to discuss concerns and options for your specific bike. Ultimately, the choice of whether or not to do more is yours.

For more details, see our Tune-Up Process on the Services page.

What if I don’t know what kind of service my bike needs?
Call us or email us to arrange a time to drop by so we can take a look. We’ll assess your bicycle and let you know what we think it needs.
Why should I use Bent Rim Cycle?

Suspension—How do I maintain my fork and shock?

If you’re like most people, you don’t, but you should and we can help!

Forks and shocks are maintained based on number of riding hours. We recommend services at 50-hour and 200-hour intervals. We will help you determine what you need, when.

Cost depends on the type of fork or shock, due to the oil volume and seal kit required. We’ll let you know up-front.

How can I pay for my bike service?

You can pay for your service by cash or e-transfer.

When do I pay for my service?
